GRAW is a great game if you have a PC that can play it at a decent framerate. we have a lot of ppl that play it now... but only after they upgraded. i was trundling along with my barton 2500+ and hated the game. now i have a e6600 the game is fantastic, looks great, has good multiplayer modes (i dont like single player games), can be tactical if you want it to be, and is a heck of a lot of fun.
it's the only game that is close to GR for the game style IMHO, which i played religiously for 3 or 4 years, even though it was dying, no other game would do. GRAW is a reasonable replacement... at least now they have patched it a few times.
that was the biggest problem. GRAW was rubbish when it first came out, so a lot of ppl just dumped it. a few are comming back now but it was doomed because it wasn't finished at realease.
most negative stuff has been patched, but tbh most complaints i saw was due to the game's engine being tough on the system and the lack of AA (because of the use of HDR), at least Grin got the listening to the community bit right, even if a bit late. i see they are planning on GRAW 2 this year, i hope they learned their lesson.
