Blurb from Sony:

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Not sure on the title, but then again, wasn't keen on Afterlife as a title.

Bill Murray is starting to look like his cameo in Zombieland.

And it dive bombed, horribly.

Melissa Mc Carthy and that nails down a blackboard voice was bad enough, but it seems that virtually every male character in the movie with a speaking part was either a drooling clueless gimp, a complete ass, or a mixture of both.

Let us never speak of it again!
Oh god... the dance scene... Why has that just lept to mind?

Adam Savage and Tested are back behind the scenes with Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. Going to be a few videos by the sounds of it.

Other half is with her Mum for a few days, so I've got the place to myself. Just watched Ghostbusters, will do Ghostbusters II later on. Afterlife tomorrow and then...

Local cinema, 5pm Friday. :D Could have gone to a 3:15 screening, but it's in their smaller screen, this one is in the largest.

Well, there was no need to have booked a ticket it seems.

Local friendly cinema has so far sold 12 tickets for the 5pm screening...:(

[Edit] Just found out the large screen were in holds 450 people....

Currently up to 14 people in here. Adverts have nearly finished.

Just home. Total count in the cinema was 15 people. Shockingly empty.

As for the film. It's fun. It's a total popcorn movie. Don't think about it too much. If you're deep into the GB lore, then it'll dig into that a bit too which is nice. But as a Ghostbusters film, Yes. In some ways, it feels more like The Real Ghostbusters cartoon than the previous films.

But yeah, I'll happily go see it again with the other half.

Great to see Slimer again though. :D

Oh, and did anyone else spot the Crystal Skull Vodka?

‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Still Looking To Bust Between $42M-$44M Opening – Saturday AM Box Office

Ok, that sounds decent. But it'll be the fans who go now, it's the next couple of weeks that will matter more.

It had a $16million opening day with a budget of $100million isn't bad.
