Ghosting on 4850

If I have a black back ground and a white menu to the right of it I will see a faint outline of the menu, this is even visible on the windows loading screen.

Does anyone know a solution for this, I have tried various drivers!
 
I think that si more to do with the monitor as opposed to the graphics card, but I take it this didnt occur with previous gpu?
