Hi All, i have a 26" LCD TV 1360x768, and have noticed like a shadow around the text and all boxes on the right hand side of them.

is this ghosting and if so how can i alliviate this as it is a bit of a pain after a while. i have practised with powerstrip and messed with some timings but not managed to actually sort it out.

i also have 2 vga cables, and old one and a belkin gold which i got today, neither solve it.

Samsung LE26R41BD btw!

We won't be able to see your ghosting from a screengrab, only a photo. All that can be seen in that picture is a poor quality jpeg.

What you're describing doesn't sound like ghosting (moving image trails), rather a repeated image (I have heard this referred to as ghosting on PAL TVs). If you can use the DVI link that should stop the problem (I believe your screen has a DVI or HDMI), or get a better quality (well shielded) VGA cable.

Have you tryed to adjust your clear type settings with cleartype tuner??
excuse me if im teaching you to suck eggs but there is no mention of this in your post.
