giant ipad possible?

I work in exhibitions and a lot of companies use iPads at the shows. Trouble is iPad screen isn't very big and so exhibitors can't use large size ipads. There are companies that provide giant tablets but they're android based devices and android isn't great.

Just curious to know would it be possible to get a company to produce a custom LCD and digitiser that can connect to the iPad circuit board and create a DIY giant iPad on large screen?

Is a bespoke LCD screen made to connect to the iPad possible?? Does the iPad lcd and digitiser use an industry standard connector or is it their own propietory connectio?

In what way is Android not great? Android is superb.

But to answer your question, do some Google searching. Pretty sure Apple are planning the release of a 12" iPad shortly.

thanks, the price is a bit too steep and since they're based in the USA rental option probably wouldnt be viable.

But it's good to know that it can be done. I will look at researching how they managed to do this. Do you know if the iPad display is being output via airplay and the touch inputs placed on the screen with capactive material or is the touch inputs entered via USB?

We use Airserver to display ipad screens through projectors in teaching rooms, might that help ?

Is there a specific reason you don't want an Android device? There is nothing wrong with Android or even Windows for that matter.

12.2" Samsung tablet would be easier however I wouldn't say that's a giant tablet.

You can get 20" Windows "tablets" but they aren't really tablets anymore imo, they're Tablets/Desktop PC's.
