Ok, I get brexit tax and all that, buying dollar items with GBP is very expensive at the moment, but surely that means when something gets a $100 price drop you save a lot on that?, why is that not being passed onto us? brexit tax can't work both ways.

I have a 1070 just now and I was considering upgrading but that £700 for FE 1080 Ti is rich and an upgrade to a 1080 doesn't seem worth the extra cost since those card prices are still a too high.

To replace my GTX 1070 AMP Extreme Spectra RGB with a GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme Spectra RGB it will cost me at least £300 for that upgrade and its not a 100% increase in performance.

Sounds like I'm waiting for next gen, VEGA while sounding promising... well my R9 290x had memory issues. It kind of put me off AMD as a company as every item I've had in the last 5 years has had issues.

Now I'm not saying it isn't a fast card but notice how they're comparing it to the 980 non-Ti as they did with the 1080? With the latter card you could argue it was the direct replacement but there's no excuse now. Bloody marketing folk...
