You will have too, did you not sell your 5870`s in anticipation for the new cards, The 6870 at best will be no different to what you have sold ?

The 6870/50 for sale already here in Aus at around $330/$280.

Which at current xe rate is around 200/170 of your earth pounds. To put it more in perspective our 460 1gb work out around 150gbp
 
Get the EVGA's, if you don't you will be back on here after your 6970 purchase moaning how powerplay still sucks and you wish you went Nvidia.:p

So the 6870 competes with the GTX 460 and yet costs over £200 inc. VAT and replaces the 5830? Well it's apparently not doing a very good job at doing either of those things when as you say it seems to be priced against the 5850 and GTX 470. Colour me sceptical Mr. Gibbo.

I've got powerplay issues with my 460's...... Damn things stuck at P2 power state at 120hz.....

Nvidia have acknowledged a bug and are working to fix it apparently.
