Im probaiblly going to get the MSI but I might be getting the Asus depends if I watercool the graphics cards or not.

Does that mean the guy doesnt know what Phenom actually is or that he is not allowed tell me anything about Phenom?

AM2+ is really just a stop-gap untill AM3. I have heard that AM3 is delayed due to slow DDR3 take-up. no idea if this is still true or not

I do believe so... AM3 is meant to be DDR3 only. So it wont be around for a while.

What I want to know is, when is Nvidia offering it's new chipset? I don't want a Crossfire mobo as I need an SLi offering. Any ideas peeps?

Some time in Q1 2008 apparnelty now that 780i has been delayed. 790i may come sooner but I dont think it will and thats apparnelty DDR3 only.

I am seriously considering getting one of these. Are there any early pre release benchmarks?

There is a review on OCWorkbench sort of but its is rubbish does really tell you much about the performace at all.
