I'm here for 3 days on business, just coming to the end of day 1 and staying on a boat in the harbour, which I am told is the best hotel.

It's like the harbour area is ok ish and then everywhere is is less OK'ish. People who work hear tell me "it's fantastic.....and then week 2 you realise it's not"

Big hill with monkeys and that's about it.

Very odd place, English in some ways but they all drive on the wrong side of the road and speak odd n stuff.

Never been, never thought about going tbh.

Everywhere has good and bad points though. I know nothing about the place really, I've always had the impression it's only big enough for a day trip at best and that's to get robbed by monkeys.

No idea really.

Morrisons was always the highlight for me when I lived not far from Gibraltar

What's Morrisons, is that one of those places with food n stuff on shelves?

I was in Tangier last month whilst sitting on a cafe looking over the water...and at the same time I was looking on Google maps and checked out Gibrator.

TINY place, the airport seems insane, cut in half by the main road going into Spain.

I believe cars no longer cross the runway but people and bikes do.

It’s basically a sunny Blackpool without the attraction of the Tower.

Very odd place, not sure what I made of it but not what I expected.

Having said that, one of the best Indian Restaurants i've eaten at is on the island.

I've been albeit many years ago. A few days there is long enough but definitely worth a visit.

Cheap cigars is the best thing about Gib.

Brother has lived in Gib for 25 years. Not a bad life I'd say.

Sunborn is nice to stay on. Clear glass door for the toilet in the shower room was interesting - if you're into that sort of thing. Just to up the ante, you could open the cupboard doors in the bedroom and the cupboard doors in the shower room. Watching your better half take a shower whilst lying on the bed is quite the novetly.

Okay place to chillout over a weekend, but yeah it is a little different! Premium spirits are very cheap there - shame you can't take more home with you!

My mum lives there. Will be heading over to say ello in a few weeks. Been many times it's a decent enough place.

Very odd place

It's properly surreal, like every city / town in the UK has been smashed into a tiny space.
In any given direction you look, you will see things that look like at least 3 different areas of the UK.

Really weirded me out.
