Giel Ram

Hey guys,

I have the Giel memory in my computer at the moment (2x 1gb) and i check on cpu and the timings are different to those specified on the webpage.

Should i just change them in the bios to what is specified on the website?

The correct timings are 4-4-4-12, at least thats what mine are running. I had to change them out the box for my board (gigabyte) and also whack up the volts a tiny bit, but lower stable volts, the better.

I'd change the timings in the BIOS or you're missing out on those low latency times.

Just saw this thread so went to take a look at my mem setting's on cpu-z and i also need to change it. However my FSB: DRAM is 5:6 rather than the 2-3 in marc's screenshot - so would i have to alter anything else other than the timing's and the voltage?

The board sucks for overclocking, so if it can run it at those setting I would think your may handle it also
