Gifting a game on PSN

No, I meant buying a game for someone on my friends list. I've sent him the cash via Paypal so he can buy it anyway but it did ruin the surprise a bit.

No you can't do that either at the moment. I haven't even read anything about it coming in a future update either.

Cheers for the replies guys.

I wanted to buy Dying Light for a mate in Murica, so a physical copy is a bit of a mission and I don't know if a PSN voucher from here would work over there, hence Paypal.

I can't think of a reason not to implement this on the consoles really, it works great on Steam, shirley Sony and MS are missing a trick here? More money guys, come on!

why not buy a physical copy from a HUGE online retailer which is American and post it to his address for free?

I have regularly used the rainforest site (.com version not .co.uk) to order stuff to an american mailbox for relatives in canada to pick up from (30 mins from their home across the border).

Because I'm an idiot and didn't think of that.

Which is odd because I bought some PC components from the egg over there for the same purpose
