Hey,

Now that the "gig year" has officially come to an end with the last of the summer festivals over I thought maybe it's time for a new gig planner as personally I found the last one rather intersting reading what everyone's up to :)

Plenty of bands are touring in the autumn so post up who you're going to see and/or plan on getting tickets for. Hell, post anyone who you're dying to see and waiting for dates!

So far for me...

Sat 7th October - XFM Warehouse Project in Manchester - Looking forward to he Kasabian DJ set and The View mainly.

Sat 28th October - The Fratellis at the Manchester Academy - Tickets aren't on sale for this yet but I've seen them a while back in the academy 2 and they were awesome  Really looking forward to their album in a couple of weeks.

Mon 1th December - Kasabian (Fratellis supporting) at the MEN - Sweeeeeet  Got my tickets for this already. Saw them for the first time at V this year and they were just awesome, loved the album but they really are a band you have to see imo.

That's it so far but a band that I'll definately be looking out for is The Rifles, saw these at V also and I was really surprised. I'm the type of person that likes to get into a band before I see them, but I found myself instantly liking these.

Naturally I'll be V-ing it up next year also.

So who's everyone else planning on seeing then?

Going to see We Are Scientists on their next UK tour, I think it's next month, also have tickets to see The Kooks (both in Sheffield), but I'm probably not going to go to that one. Not got much booked really, all my mates go away to uni this month (few only decided to go a few weeks ago, surprised me), and gigs aren't as fun alone : (

mate do you know when the fratellis manchester gig tickets go on sale? really dont wanna miss out on this gig as they are gonna be huge. im aquiring a copy of the album right now, they are the most exciting band around at the mo i think

kasabian suprised me with their second album tbh. i liked the first but thought the second might be crap. proved wrong though, its excellent.

edit: - in case anyone is interested the fratellis have a gig in brum on 19th october. tickets go on sale today at 12, gonna snap some up i thinks....

I dunno to be honest mate. I checked last night and it said they were on sale soon.

Ticketline (the only place I can find them on) has been jammed and busy all morning. If I find out I'll let you know :)

P.S - I'd go easy on the "aquiring" references, piracy is bad mm'kay :o
