My mobo (P5W DH Deluxe) has dual Gigabit Ethernet output. Am interested in getting a Gigabit connection to my other machine.... I know my router is only 10/100Mbit wired, so how would I get a Gigabit connection from one PC to another? All my crossover cables are 10/100, are there special Gigabit crossover cables?

Now i'm going to have to pause you there xija06. I believe you can attain Gigaspeeds from regular Cat5e cable.

Shakey_Jake33 as for your router being 10/100, all you need to do to convert this to Gigabit speeds is add a Gigabit switch serving all computers in your network like so:

Router - > Gigabit Switch - > Gigabit enabled computers

Agreed cat5 will more than likley work at gigabit speeds. A 5 port Gigabit switch (that support jumbo frames) is getting quite cheap now.
