Gigabye DS3P mis-reporting temps?

Evening/morning all, I've just finished building and installing a new rig.Specs are:
C2D E6420, DS3P, 2GB Ballistix, X1800XT. CPU and GPU are both watercooled using an Eheim pump, Swiffy Apogee GT on the CPU and an Aquaextreme on the GPU.

In the BIOS and through the Gigabyte Easy Tune HW monitor the System temp is reading 38C and the CPU temp is 14C. These cant be right. Is this a known issue with this board? Any fixes? I suppose I could get a thermometer and stick in the res to get the water temp...

It sounds about right. My e6600 was 12-14c at stock in my DS3's BIOS.

They're really cool at stock.

Tho it may be a Gigabyte issue in general.

i'm thinking it's incorrect for the same reason - apparently 32C in the case, 7C (!?) on the CPU (non-oc E6600), using a ninja b & a papst fan.
