Gigabyte 2 for 1 Upgrade - Worth It?

The time has come to make a choice for the 2 for 1 upgrade that Gigabyte did a bit back.

I have a Gigabyte Z97 UD5H and a 4790k.

Assuming with the offer I will have to buy a new CPU and RAM, so has much changed where it is worth doing the upgrade?

I'd say at this point, no.

I'd stick with the 4790k for atleast another year if I were you, maybe slap an overclock on it if you haven't already.
