While playing Sleeping Dogs just now, I noticed the GPU temp was sitting at 94 degress. Surely this is too high isn't it?

It certainly is.
Apparently the first revision of the card ran hot and noisy, but thought they had fixed those issues as the cooler is designed slightly different.

I think I have enough airflow.

I've got an Antec P182. It has an intake at the front inline with the GPU. I'll try to stick a pic up, it'll be easier to explain

Right then, ran a couple of tests.

For whatever reason, The GPU stays at 97% load while the game is paused. The temps maxed out at about 90 degress with 100% fan speed.
I took the side of my case off and left it for 10 mins. Temps dropped to around 75 degrees and fan speed at 93%.

I left the case off and let the GPU cool to around 38 degrees, and loaded up Furmark.
At idle the temp was 38, fan speed 25%. At full load the card temps hit 82 degrees with max fan speed.

What I did notice though, the windforce cooler starts to rattle/vibrate once fan speed hits 80-85%. If I touch the corner of the card, the noise goes.

I'm fearing the cooler/card may be faulty :(
