I currently have two of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-122-GI

I am checking what temperatures i am getting, also note they are brand new, i have cleaned my case entirely from dust (HAFX). Current room temperature is 20 degrees celcius I am thinking one of the cards is faulty.

Should remove the heatsink (this does not void warranty?), clean and reapply with mx-2 or call OCUK and get a new one? Or will having load temp of 90 degrees not be considered faulty?

Next question is should i test each card separately for temps before proceeding. I don't think it will matter as i have benched the top card by itself and temperature still reaches 88-91 degrees, having both running is not influencing it too much. My sound card is above both of them on the first x1 slot

Edit: i clocked it back to 1000mhz last night to see if temps decreased anything, no difference, but thats what clocks they are running for that picture (mem = 1500)

Got a picture of them in your case ? Hows case airflow? Got any side exhaust fans? Cos you'll need them to remove the heat both the cards are dumping in your case. Making sure you have a positive pressure in your case will help as well.

I had my side panel off when i first booted up just in case i forgot to plug something in. The difference with the side panel off or on is very little (only 1-2 degrees).

My side panel has a 200mm fan on it blowing directly on the cards, inverting it makes very little difference, but then i would be having negative pressure. Right now its 230mm + 200mm IN, and 200mm + 140mm out

here is a picture, the rubbish quality is my galaxy s 3
