appart from the fact that its BLUE
is there anything else wrong with this kit... bearing in mind ive got a thermaltake big water SE kit... and im getting a bit sick of its 6mm tubing and frankly feeble looking pump.

not a lot i can 'upgrade ' due to the tube ID unfortunatly

so iv been looking at the gigabyte kit, 1/2'' tubing, single rad ( which will be replaced with a twin sooner or later) and a pump / res combo... and a GENIUS fan attachment for the water block to replace that airflow u loose from taking the air away from CPU cooling
i read one review and it was AMAZING.

opinions please.
( btw i dont have the money for 120 -300 quid swifty stuff. gigabytes 65 quid price tag would suite :)

thats a pic of the rig, i cant see a lot wrong with it, the tubing seems a decent inough ID ( better han my current 6.4mm :P ) and in good time the rad would be replaced with a twin swifty rad.

ill have a look on the MM in a moment though.

soo... now thats over with i can rant about that new kit !! i dont know as much as you guys about WC... but even i can see that kit just will not work ! and iv been staring at it for a few mins, but im pretty sure that kit ALSO cools te southbridge ( or something).

cheers guys, still though any first hand experience with the original kit ?

Whats the reason for a kit m8? U still have to cut ** tubes and leak test everything. Unless its a good deal then I dont see the point. Kits usually give really small tubing and 1/2" tubing and fittings arent any real difference in price.

the price really... i just cannot afford a custom built kit at the moment, it all seems a bit too expensive !
i could see about getting adapters for my current kit as a kind of stop gap, but i dont know what size the threads are etc

mine has quick screw on couplings, in which you put the tube on a nippple then tighten a threaded ring around it, the hole in the nipple is a pathetic 4mm.
i could change these fittings with anything twith about an 9mm OD ( dont know the size of the thread )

seriuosly wouldnt have bought this kit if id know anything about watercooling at the time !

Rick
Btw nothing in the MM :(
