I bought this card from another store. At 900MHz it is unstable. Games crash at random. I took it back to the store and they tested it with Heaven and Crysis benchmark tests, both of which passed. You get loads of errors with OCCT but they were unwilling to test with this. They diagnosed "no fault found" and the card was returned to me.

Gigabyte sent me a new bios @ 880MHz and it is stable. This is not really aceptable since I paid for 900MHz.

Is there any way I could make sure the card fails @ 900MHz with Heaven/Crysis benchmarks?

Why not up the voltage and go for higher clocks. You may not get the result you want going for an rma with the store or gigabyte. Sticking a little more voltage through the card should allow you to run the desired clocks and save you the hastle dealing with an rma.
