Gigabyte 680 OC

Have you got your fan blowing hard on it while benchmarking? Have you got your GTX 680 overclocked? If so what settings?

Apologies if they're on those links you've posted - blocked at work :p

Well then the 670 bench of 2000+ is going to be on quite a large overclock.

The 680 reduces its clock speed by 15mhz when you go over 70c so while benching you should set the fan to blow harder to keep it under this temperature.

Additionally, to get a proper feel of how your card performs you could try overclocking it. As you'll see from my signature, mine nearly reaches 1300mhz on the core so there's plenty of headroom there.

matched settings from your normal run on 1300mhz core and 7000 memory with max temp of 64c and only got 1876, rest of details in specs.

no way he got 2000+ on stock settings, impossible.

that's weird, I'm getting 1900+ on a 670 at 1201mhz at the OCUK standard settings on heaven... not sure why yours are so low

that link posted above to well over 2000 on stock settings he's not running any AA by the way, that's why his scores are so over the top

Also run it with no AA still got poor results....something telling me this gfx card isn't for me and should return it while I got chance.....

Can you post what settings you're running Heaven at?

I get 2140 ish while at my maximum overclock and just under 2000 at stock.

If not I'll check your links when I get back from work...

@ OP, make sure you're using the same driver if you want to compare too.

Although imo there's not much point comparing as it's easy for people to force options off in the nv control panel, disable aero etc and affect their scores.

Just checked your original screenshots - it is definitely a low score for a 1080p run.

Just to confirm - your driver settings are at default? And is your core speed correctly clocking up to ~1060 while benchmarking?

yeh default setting on drivers, the latest ones from nvidia. I did have a window color scheme pop up asking me to change it to basic but I pressed ignore and keep the original settings.

Your card isn't throttling up at all, it's staying at low usage I'd bet. Have you checked the usage while running heaven? I just ran it at those settings with a 580 at stock:

Edit: my 2700k was at stock for this also..
