Hi , i'm having a strange problem, no matter what i do i cant get any voltage control in afterburner, i have tried the soft mods , the skynet bios , i have tried everything but nothing will let me go past the 1.1870 limit , i can activate the slider that gives up to 1.3v but it has no effect , with the stock bios and AB b18 i have the slider that gives up to 75mv but this also has no effect.

I have tried evga precision with skynets bios and i can overvolt to 1.212 but thats my limit, i must be doing something wrong , i have read all the guides and tried everything i can think.

Any ideas ?

Just to be sure, if you run GPU -Z and then run the render test for 10 minutes until the temps settled, then increase the slider and see if the temps rise, as it just might not be showing, mine worked fine but could not clock any higher than i could on stocks :(

You will need AB Beta 16 for any of the custom BIOS's (skynet) but with the stock BIOS and AB Beta 18, I would still expect to see the +38mV being added (bringing 1.212V).

If it is showing ok with PrecisionX, I imagine it is a beta 18 bug with your card.

Nah, with the stock bios the extra volts do nothing in either AB 18 or evga 4.2.1

Out of curiosity I tried MSI AB Beta 18 on a Stock 780Ti (Under Water) and was unable to apply the +38mV for 1.212V either.

AB and GPU-Z both report stock voltages of ~1.16.

Well after scanning through some 300-odd pages it seems that the voltage control of the ref 780ti hasn't been unlocked yet, the pages with the 780ti volt soft mod are misleading and it generally doesnt work, the skynet bios will unlock 1.212v but only in evga precision X and older versions of afterburner.

I can't control voltage on my Gigabyte 780 GHZ with MSI AB or even the Gigabyte Guru tool lol! for some reason neither actually result in the voltage being applied only EVGA Precision actually results in a voltage adjustment :| Seems a bit hit and miss.

Seems you need to use AB Beta 16 and Skynets BIOS to get unlocked volts :)
