Heya,
I've got two of these cards currently in my NZXT Phantom and just noticed that the second card is sagging to the point that its starting to fowl its own cooling shroud. At the moment, I have it propped up so that the grinding stops but I'd like to get a more permanent solution.
I'm going to attempt to hook the PCI-E cables to my 24pin cable using cable ties but was also thinking about a backplate that I could use .. however I'm struggling to find one that fits as its the Revision 2 board which nobody seems to stock
The closest I can find is the EK Heatkiller but it comes as a whole solution which I'm not interested in water cooling anything.
Any options or thoughts that I haven't considered? I believe the card uses a 7970 PCB, as they both have 1x6pin and 1x8pin PCI-E power connectors unlike the true 7950s which have 2x6pin but I can't confirm my logic
Many help would be greatly appreciated as I'm slowly going round the twist
Cheers
