Right,

So I got my 7950 yesterday and slapped it in and it's all running well, massive improvement on the 5770 that I had in before!

Just wondered if there was anything that I could/should do with it now?

I have it all up to date with the cataylst drivers and what not but is there anything else? I've read stuff about Bios's and switches? (I havn't switched any switches, should I?)

Just wondered if there's anything I could do to get it running at it's best!

Thanks in advance :p
Sam

With the bios situation is your core clocked up to 1000mhz? Some gigabytes are coming with 1000 MHz on the core. Apparently it's a new bios update.

I'll check when I get back from work tonight, got a feeling it be 900mhz. Is a BIOS update relatively easy to do?

OP, is it worth messing with at this time? If it runs really well for you, personally I'd just use it and enjoy then consider overclocking when it starts to struggle slightly? :)

Aye, reading around I think it's probably safer to leave it now. I've got a cpu fan to fit this weekend so I'll probably just clock the CPU a little...I just like having something to mess around with >.<

There's a Z0 or Z1... can't remember now, BIOS which is the one clocked at 1000Mhz. I'm not sure if it's the newest one or a old one as I had it on one of my cards but flashed over it with F43. I do have a backup though.

I pushed both of them up to 1000Mhz but Far Cry 3 is crashing :(

Ah well, if that's the case I'll probably just leave it as it is.

Thanks :)
