Yes exactly :) I think what Im seeing is that the Q6600 (over the course I would say of many years) is only now becoming to be a considerable factor.

Would love to see a review of a Q6600 vs say a 2500k using the same settings/7950 GFX card.

Increase a bit slower and test.

Try 950 core it should do that without having to think about the volts.

My previous card would not get to 1000 core without a bump in volts whereas my MSI will surpass 1000 at default volts.

Are you using afterburner?
 
Ah you have to bump up GPU Vcc? Didnt know that. Can you do that in CC software?
Not using Afterburner just using vanilla CC software... no good?
