Gigabyte 965p-ds3

My mobo is speced at holding 8GB of RAM but on SIW and CPU-z it says the maximum I can have is 4gb? 1 gb per slot.

I am not sure if there is any updates I need to run for this to work but I can not find any?

As anybody else had this problem? Or know how to rectify it?

The board can run 8gb.

I'm running 6GB (2+2+1+1) on that board without any problems so it should be fine

I'm running 2x2gb and 2x1gb in a p965-ds3p with no probs

Nice to know as memory gets ever cheaper. Time to move from 4GB to 6GB!!
