Hey guys,

I want to upgrade from my e6300 to an e8400. I was wondering if my current mobo (In title) will be compatible with this new 45nn chip?? Or should I upgrade to say a p45 Asus p5Q pro?

The DS4 will take 45nm chips

What REV board are you using, REV 1 according to the Gigabyte website does not:

I cant find the box atm so not sure which rev. In cpu-z it says rev c2, does this mean its rev 2?

Look on the motherboard. The revision number is printed in the corner by the last/lowest white PCI slot.
