Hi,
Sorry if this should be in the overclocking section but it kinda fits in multiple sections.

I have this board coupled with a Phenom II x4 960T and I'm trying to identify which TMPIN temp is the socket temp. Reason being I'm looking to unlock to an x6 1605T which disabled core temp....

If someone has this board or board CPU combo it would be a major help....

I think its TMPIN 2 but not exactly sure.

Thanks.

i don't have this board exactly but gigabyte usually shows 2 temperatures: cpu and system which is somewhere on the pcb but not in the socket.
as who cares about socket temp???
temp of cpu is most important, you can find it in the bios for sure.
if you want to monitor it under windows then use their utility "easy tune" or coretemp
