Hi all new to the forum and have probably answered my post before I start lol,
Not built a pc for some 15 years plus.
New build which I can't get to post is as follows,
Ryzen 5600 cpu
A520M K V2 board
32gb Corsair
PF600 deep cool psu
SSD 1tb harddrive
Powercolour 6600 gpu
All new bar the graphics.
The issue is the first 2 parts, they don't like each other out of the box. Will not post.
Put my sons 3400 CPU in it and it posts no problem, updated the bios but will still not post with the 5600, Send back CPU to supplier and they say the CPU is ok.
Bought second hand CPU 5600x still no post
I'm suspecting the bios needs a tweak.
Should I give up on the board and just get an A550 board or should I persevere with an update to the bios.
