Gigabyte continue motherboard development by adding SLI support to all X58 motherboards. All of the EX-58 series motherboards now officially support Nvidia SLI technology, allowing users to take full advantage of blazing-fast Nvidia multi-GPU performance.

With a simple BIOS Upgrade from Gigabyte’s website, users can enable SLI support on their current motherboards for ultra smooth 3D rendering, blazing-fast frame rates and enhanced visual quality only possible with a multiple graphics card solution. Click Here here to view the excellent range of Gigabyte X58 motherboards.

I'm somewhat confused... I bought a UD4P board a couple of months ago, it was SLI capable then... what's changed with the BIOS update?

They have added it to all the boards in their range, the EX58-UD3R now supports SLI for example.

There are a couple of new releases in the past couple of weeks for some of the other models that should show a performance increase if Gigabyte's marketing team is to be believed. :D
