Gigabyte 4870x2 and COD4

I have just installed a Gigabyte 4870x2 runs very hot using CCC anyone know how to turn the fan up?

Also while playing COD4 i noticed that the heat "haze" that you always see around flames or from the tank in the bog is no longer present all the setting are on max, can anyone work out why the the haze is no longer present? im using Vista.
