My first time posting on here and looking for some advice from people far knowledgable than myself.

I purchased the above gaming laptop from LaptopsDirect on 31/10 this year. Within less than a week the keyboard on the laptop stopped working entirely but when i plugged a usb keyboard in i could type.

I noticed that in device manager i had an error 'Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

I contacted LaptopsDirect who did everything in their power to fob me off, so i raised an RMA with Gigabyte.

Ironically i live about 15 minutes from their UK service center, so took the laptop in person.

They confirmed that there was indeed an issue and replaced the entire laptop keyboard.

In my correspondence with them i got visibility of the issue of it being 'I05 K/B FAIL/LOCK' whatever that means.

Anyway fast forward 30 days and the EXACT same problem has happened, the onboard keyboard has stopped working, the same error in device manager - yet when i plug an external keyboard in i can type as normal.

At this point i am genuinely worried and upset that something i have saved up for and spent a lot of money on (£2500) has developed this fault not once but twice in less than 7 weeks of ownership.

To summarise i have zero confidence in Gigabyte, the RMA fix has not worked and LaptopsDirect have fobbed me off.

I have explored raising a section 75 as i paid for this on my credit card.

Woudl really appreciate any help and guidance here.
