Hi all,

I bought and installed a Gigabyte Aorus F127q
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ync-led-backlit-gaming-monitor-mo-004-gi.html

However, whenever I run above 120hz I get a high pitched noise similar to the noise you'd hear if you have tinnitus.

I've done some trouble shooting online and followed the standard; check sound, check cables, check power, configure colours/brightness but nothing removing or even reducing the noise.

just quickly my set up is:
Palit 2080ti oc
2x8gb 3000mhz kingston
b450 Aorus mobo
3700x

I never post on forums, so apologies if I've missed a level of standard - but hopefully someone out there has some knowledge that could help :)

It sounds like one of the components is faulty, if it's bran new get it replaced with a new one. If not I can get it repaired for you.

I received it on 11th Feb so out of seller 30 day, I'm awaiting contact with them (delayed with all that is going on) I have all original packaging etc so if there is no way to fix or suggested fixes I suppose I'll go this route :(

hi giga-man, I'm not sure how I get in touch - i've tried calling the gigabyte support number listed on the support page but I get disconnected

Did you get this resolved? Sorry I've been really busy so not had time to check the forums until my day off today.

Hi sorry I’m the same super busy! So I contacted gigabyte support (appreciate that you may not want to hear this and to be clear there’s no complaint coming my way) ...but

they told me it’s “normal” for a monitor to make this noise and closed my ticket *laugh face > cry face*

I have this monitor and it does not make any noise.
