Gigabyte Aorus Master Error

I have just installed the 5900X in this board but the system does not boot.

I get error od then it changes to A6 after a few seconds.

I have tried the RAM in different slots tried different GPU's

I updated to the latest bios which is F31h, but I think I need to update to F30 first to support the 5000 series Cpu is this correct?

Also just to make sure you only need to connect 18 pin power cable to the motherboard or do you also need to connect the both 8 pin power connectors?

You definitely need those extra power cables. Check the manual and make sure they are the correct ones from your power supply.

Edit: as in don't plug pcie power cables into it.

Provided you have a bios installed that supports ryzen 5000 series CPU's then it should boot with 2 cables plugged in yes. F31H bios will support that CPU, you dont need to downgrade to F30 bios

Any ideas what else it could be?

So I have flashed the BIOS again and all is now working
