Gigabyte / Aorus TRX40 Xtreme availability + rev 1.1?

Anyone (such as a friendly Gigabyte / Aorus rep) know anything about availability of the Aorus TRX40 Xtreme ? I've been planning a build around it and was ready to buy and suddenly it's out of stock everywhere.

I raised an OCUK webnote but the answer was "we don't know". I also note that there's a rev 1.1 listed on Gigabyte's site - any news on availability for that?

Can see them online for £850 from UK resellers .

1.1 is do do with thunderbolt header

I wasn't able to find it in stock or even with an ETA from anywhere else, but I'll check around again.

That makes sense re the header, though as it was physically there on 1.0 I was hoping they'd address that with a BIOS update. That's not really a priority for me though.

I've got three of these over due now, all I've been told it's that Gigabyte haven't shipped them yet, this was from the disti not sure what resellers have in stock, but that was my next port of call if I don't get them before the 17th.

The only stock we have currently is the 1.0 version, the change is due to a small component swap due to shortages. There is stock in the EU which should be heading over to distribution and re-sellers now.

Funny you should say that my boards are due Friday/Monday now which is fine as I've had delays on other parts as well, namely PSU's

Yeah. PSU's are in short supply (no pun intended) at the moment due production and component delays because of the first wave of COVID.
