Am new to the Gigabyte bios screen.

This is basic stuff but could someone confirm that this is all you need to do.

Am using Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Single Channel Module

Do I...

Change Ram timing selectable to : Quick or expert

Profile DDR Voltage : Adjust voltage.

Channel A Timing Settings change to : 10 10 10 27

Do the same for Channel B, C and D Timing Settings.

Is this correct?

Thanks.

Just enable the XMP profile at the top.

If it's the 1.50V type Vengeance then that's all you need.

If it's the 1.65V type Vengeance then you could do with getting it down a bit to 1.60V or less.

You could really do with 2 sticks for dual channel operation.

Thank for the help, but I am lost as to what you are saying.

I have 8 sticks of ram. The 1.50v type. I enabled the XMP as you suggested....

Are you saying that the bios has a built in profile for my ram and by selecting "profile 1" it is enabled?

These are the recommended settings for this ram..

Tested at 1600MHz, Vdimm = 1.50V, at latency settings of 10-10-10-27 on Intel DDR3-based motherboards.
- SPD programmed at: JEDEC standard 9-9-9-24 values at 1333MHz.
- XMP 10-10-10-27 values at 1600MHz, 1.50V
