gigabyte board question

do they still have that dual bios chip setup, so if you **** up a bios flash it don't really matter.

They do, but I think it depends on what model, My X58 ud5 has.

Pretty sure it's a standard feature for all their motherboards now.

Yes most giga boards have this feature except the most basic models and have done so for a few years now.

No I suppose it doesn't really matter, I thought they all did by now. That only happened to me once and no backup, older Asus board. Loads of people were having this problem I was reading through the Asus forum for days, and it was going to have to be RMA'd and no warranty, I was freakin out! In the end I managed to follow instructions to get the board to reload the original Bios from a disk, and I did this without any image coming up on the screen, it was completely blank, monitor in power saving mode, and it worked, eventualy! LOL good times!
