Hi All,
Bit of a long shot but has anyone else got a Gigabyte Brix 1900,
I purchased one for Xmas and installed Windows 10, everything was working fine apart from an occasional hang on reboot forcing me to power off the system and back on. This started to get a bit annoying so installed the latest Bios from the Gigabyte website as it said this could fix power issues (Version F7).
Since then my HDMI audio no longer works no matter how many different drivers I try. Today I even removed Windows 10 and installed Windows 7 thinking it could be a software issue but I am getting the same result in Windows 7. I have tried swapping the HDMI cable and using a different port just incase but still no joy.
After doing some more reading it seems this is an issue with the new firmwares (F6 and F7) so I am looking to rollback to an older firmware (F3 or F5) but Gigabyte have removed them from their website. I have raised a support ticket with them but had no response yet.
The windows software you use to upgrade firmware gives you the option to backup your existing firmware so I was wondering if anyone with this model could check their firmware version in the bios and if F3 or F5, create a backup which I could use?
A bit of a long shot I know but its worth an ask.
Or any suggestions as to how I can get the HDMI audio working again?
Thanks, Sam
