Im clocking a Conroe 6600 with the above board.
I have no issues what so ever so far with the following settings all on the stock fan.
FSB 300
Multi 9
RAM 900 Mhz (Multiplier @ x3)
PCI-E 101
Vdim +0.3 (2.1v)
However is if set the FSB over 300 the PC shutsdown and reboots with the above settings.
I have tried dropping the RAM multiplier to keep the RAM on or below 900 Mhz but it doesn't make any difference.
I haven't disabled the Speedstep in the BIOS, would I be right that for this board I need to disable the following bearing in mind there is no specific reference to Speedstep etc....
CPU Enhanced Halt (CIE)
CPU Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2)
CPU EIST Function
Im pretty sure this is advisable since I want to over clock.
