Hi guys, Im planning my first ever build, whats my chances of the DS3 not liking the Corsair memory?

What do I do if it doesnt POST? Would I still be able to get into the BIOS to adjust the voltage (I take it thats whats causing thep problems?)

(Memory is CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-12)

No problems at all matey, go ahead and buy it :) great ram :D

You may need a cheap stick of DDR2 ram, just incase. Everyone said my geil would work fine - yet I had to stick the cheap low speed DDR2 in and change the voltage to +.2 volts (for the memory).

Hi,

If you're considering spending that amount of cash on that corsair kit, I'd really recommend going for the GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) (MY-058-GL) as it has better timings, is highly overclockable, and around about the same price (assuming you're buying from ocuk)
