Evening all.

Recently been using the following in a VMC setup.

DS3L
E8400
2x2GB Corsair Ram
Corsair TX650W PSU
Sapphire 4870
Netgear WG311 wifi

All was working fine untill i shut her down this afternoon unplugged her from the mains took the top off and plugged in a new Nova HD-S2 tuner card.

Now it wont post :( no screen, no beeps nothing.
The 4 lights (Phase lights) light up and stay on as do the fans 1xCPU + 2 system fans.

I've removed everything bar 1 stick of ram.
I've put a 4850 out of my gaming rig which i know works and nothing.

Ive tried another DVI>HDMI adaptor = nothing.
Ive tried plugging the HDMI into another port on the card and the TV still nothing.

I've removed the bios battery and set the cmos to clear for roughly 10 minutes with the mains lead unplugged.

Aside from tryin a different PSU can anyone think of anything i've missed please.?

Hmm odd, tried another PSU an Antec 430W plugged into just the following

ATX
DS3L
4850

Still no post so must be the motherboard.

I've got a DS3 so will dig that out now.

The plot thickens.

Well I took everything out and put the DS3 in from my gaming rig and placed my E8400 in it.

Still no boot :(

Could the cpu be dead.? Will have to try another tonight.

Remove the card, if everything was working fine until you put it in it might have somethin to do with that. Check all connections again or even try plugging it into a different set of sockets. Oh and check that everything is seated correctly, video card, ram etc...

Okies, i've gone one step further, ive now tried both motherboards in another case with a known working good PSU.

Neither DS3 or DS3L mobo with either the E6300 or E8400 will boot or get to bios screen.
No bios beeps either, nor do i get any keybrd NUMLOCK lights.???

Now im facing the possibility that i have 2 stuffed motherboards :(

Must mention Ive removed the bios batteries again for 20 mins on both boards and reset the bios jumper all to no avail.

Any more ideas.?
