Afternoon All,

Yesterday morning I switched my PC on, and was greeted by a constant beep, however the PC continued to boot and I could work within Windows.

I eventually rebooted the PC, and the beep went away; but it has started again today.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Motherboard is a Gigabyte DS3P rev 3.3 (just a continuous beep from internal speaker).

Regards,
Craig

Check your temps.

Temps all OK, 30-40c.

I did notice that my rear case fan had stopped spinning, so i kicked that back into action; however the beep was still there!

For the time being I have unplugged the speaker. I do have some new RAM coming today to up my system to 4GB, so I'll do a RAM check to make sure one of the sticks hasnt become faulty.

mine does the same thing. What i noticed was that the CPU temp was to low and the cpu fan was turning off then the alarm would sound. So i turned the minimum fan start up temp to a lower setting.
