Hi there

Any one had any probs trying to boot a Ds4 with some rams that need 2.2 vdimm..I know it sets the vdimm 1.8 default and when I try a stick of crucial rated 1.8 vdimm boots ok...I was worried about turning my rig of for the boot issue my concerns was right, now it wont boot lol have upped the vdimm in bios but my crucial 10th anny ram wont boot :( just loops...anyone know of a trick that help me jump start my rig..or a bios tweak?

If this is a p35 ds4, then yes. I flashed to f6 bios and all has been well. At first I needed to put 1 stick of crucial 5300 in, and it's been fine ever since. I also set the ram to 4.4.4.15. +.4. before overclocking.

Boots fine everytime now.

hi..its a 965 chipset..umm tried the battery job but no go...just ordered 2 sets of crucial rams some at 1.8 and some ballistix at 2.2 vdimm...hope my 10th anny is ok ...im on the f10 bios just flashed that up from f8 no difference and messed with timeing vdimm etc..bit disappointing really as the ram has been running for months I just never ever turn my pc of..
