gigabyte ds5 bios querie

hi all just wandering if anyone else has any problems with the f12 bios for the ds3 as i bought a q6600 quad core the other day supposed to run at 2.4ghz only registered at 2.13 so i updated to the f12 bios since the upgrade a quite a few little niggles the odd blue screen saying dumping physical memory and other types of system crash this is with vista by the way and a slight display problem with my dell 3007 wfp-hc monitor which dell are going to replace but on hte off chance its not the monitor i want to get it sorted out if you guys have had problems with the f12 bios what bios would you reccomend and how would i downgrade as i had to use the @BIOS utility to upgrade as it wouldnt let me upgrade in the bios any help would be appreciated

Lack of fullstops certainly makes that hard work.

Set whatever bios your using to the correct defaults for that CPU and memory!
Should be 9 x 266 to give 2.4GHZ.
If in doubt, RTFM.
