I have a Gigabyte EP45-DS4 mobo, and it keeps freezing randomly, no pattern to it, sometimes couple of times a day, sometimes once a week. Has 4 GB of Crucial ballistix memory, and a Q6600 cpu, running Vista x64, default mobo settings. Is any body else experiencing the same, or similar symptoms and has anybody come up with a cure?

Bios updated??
I had a similar problem on my DS5 till i updated the bios i am now using the f6 one in mine and it hasn't had a problem since. I know some of the bios updates have been about better ram compatability so maybe you need to have a look and see if your ram is fully supported by the bios you have now.
