Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Question

Does the Gigabyte EX58-UD5 mobo support 1600 mhz RAM?

I just bought this mobo and this RAM.

Will the RAM be good with it? And if yes why isn't the 1600mhz not supported by the UD5?

The board supports 1600mhz ram, I am using the Patriot RAM without any problems.

I see what you mean, you will need to manually setup the timmings as it will default @ 1066mhz.
