Does the Gigabyte EX58-UD5 mobo support 1600 mhz RAM?

I just bought this mobo and this RAM.

Will the RAM be good with it? And if yes why isn't the 1600mhz not supported by the UD5?

What version ram did you get? I'm trying to find a second set of ver 3.2 to match the set I'm currently using with my UD5.

It's definitely compatible.

Not so helpful but thanks for the thought. It has a version number written on it, and I can't get a store to tell me what version they have in stock. Mine has v3.2 written on all of the modules, I'd be grateful if you could check which version they sent you as it will reflect what batch they currently have in stock.
