Not sure how I missed this the first time around but it looks like GB are finally moving to an AMI APTIO UEFI bios with thier X79 boards.

So it looks like it is as we suspected that AWARD do not have a desktop UEFI solution like AMI which was hampering GB. I also reckon this means we will not see UEFI on any of the current boards.
I also wonder how GB will cope with the transition from AWARD to AMI bearing in mind that most of thier competitors have been using AMI for some time and GB have always maintained that thier engineers are more expeienced with AWARD.
