Morning all,

I have this build since late November and the only real issue until the last few weeks has been the front panel audio header not working which is obviously easy to work around.

However the past 10 days an intermittent issue has arisen, occasionally after shutting down one fan will stay on, I dont mean the PSU run down, sometimes it is the CPU fan, sometimes it is one of the case fans, sometimes it is full speed and sometimes just gently spinning. I have tried leaving it but even after returning minutes later it is still doing the same, the case power and reset buttons do not make the PC respond either, the only way to get the system usable again is to use the power switch on the PC and wait about 10 seconds.

Does anybody have any idea whether this is a motherboard issue or something else?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Try a BIOS update.

If you have app center and easytune installed try uninstalling them.

Do you have access to another PSU?

I have flashed to the latest available bios (F8).

Will remove app center.

I'm going to take the PSU out of my son's PC later and see if it is still the same.

Wired in my son's PSU outside the case and it ran fine and it shutdown fully, did this repeatedly and ran a few benchmarks to stretch it a bit. Looks like the PSU is going back.

Since I have gone back to the Silverstone PSU its now pretty much constantly buzzing, possibly a cap or something on the way out.

Thanks for the help mate.
