Hi everyone,
I'm new here but I have just purchased a Gigabyte G5 (3060RTX); everything is currently downloading on Steam and I am looking forward to trying the machine out in anger once the games are installed.
In the meantime I have a query about the screen display and brightness. It seems that there is some kind of auto-brightness turned out, and I can't seem to turn it off. The screen brightness keys (Fn + F8/F9) do not make any difference, nor does the slider in the Display settings. It is too bright at the moment and I'm struggling with it.
Any advice please on what I need to do to turn the brightness down, or even better turn off whatever auto-brightness function is currently active on the laptop?
