Behind you... Naked!
On this Motherboard, no matter what I do, it just will not accept that its got a good CMOS battery?

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to sort this out?
What possible reasons could it have to do this?

Now, the CMOS battery is new, its been replaced with a couple of good batteries that I know are good.

I have updated the BIOS a couple of times now... Its a Packard Bell PC, the "FE" BIOS would not go, but the "FD" one did, and then it allowed me to update to the "FE" BIOS after that, so, unless there is another issue there, I dont know, but the original Packard Bell BIOS also did this too, so it surely isnt the BIOS.

The CMOS battery holder is good too... I had thought that there may be a broken link on the PCB, but there is no cuts or dammage in the tracks on the Motherboard at all.

The CPU is good too! - it works just fine, and I dont see why I thought that, but hey... You got to try all the options havent you?

I am at a loss, cos other than this CMOS battery and the system always defaultig to defaults, the system is working perfectly fine.

Anyone have anything to offer?
